My 2nd TED talk

It took a while to be edited and published but, finally here it is. It’s about how romantic love, and its false promises, can actually increase the risk of divorce. I extract the key elements of successful, resilient marriages that can help us avoid relationship breakdown. In particular, I take a deep dive into the consensual, modern arranged marriage, i.e. young Indian (country, not tribe) people getting married today in California. While I’m not advocating a return to arranged marriages for one second, there are powerful insights about how to build happy marriages that fall out of this research. I then propose a new definition for the ‘true love’ of successful marriages. Here’s the link.
